Municipal Profile

The municipality of Infanta is a first class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 64,818. It is situated on the northern part of Quezon Province. It is one of the 13 municipalities comprising the first congressional district.

Ceremonial Wrecking of the Old Claro M. Recto District Hospital

On January 16, 2017, Monday, the Ceremonial Wrecking / Demolition of the old Claro M. Recto District Hospital was conducted at the site to open the streets between Ruanto and Bonifacio of Poblacion 1. Despite the heavy rains and unpleasant weather, Quezon Provincial Governor David "Jayjay" C. Suarez graced the occasion which was attended by the Municipal Mayor Filipina Grace R. America, the Municipal Vice-Mayor Noli H. Villamor, the Sangguniang Bayan, the Barangay Officials, LGU Department Heads and other employees, as well as School representatives.

Seminar on Native Pig Production Conducted in Infanta, Quezon

A Seminar on Native Pig Production Under Coco-based Farming System was held on September 21-23, 2016 at the AVR of the Infanta Municipal Building. The activity was funded by the Department of Agriculture –Agricultural Training Institute, with the technical assistance of the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist personnel, namely Mr. Nonato S. Maza and Mr. Angelo Mardenio M. Burgo. This training is a component of the proposed Native Pig Dispersal Project of the KalipinanngLiping Filipina (KALIPI), Infanta Chapter.

First Mayor’s Cup Fun Shoot

In a campaign for a safe and responsible gun and firearms ownership, the Municipal Mayor Filipina Grace R. America, in cooperation with the First Infantry Battalion Philippine Army lead by Battalion Commander LTC Christopher C. Tampus, INF (GSC) PA, held the first ever Mayor’s Cup Fun Shoot at the 1st IB PA Barangay Tongohin, Infanta on the 5th of November, 2016, Saturday. The event, which was facilitated by Mr. Jayson Castro and Mr.
