Seminar on Native Pig Production Conducted in Infanta, Quezon

A Seminar on Native Pig Production Under Coco-based Farming System was held on September 21-23, 2016 at the AVR of the Infanta Municipal Building. The activity was funded by the Department of Agriculture –Agricultural Training Institute, with the technical assistance of the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist personnel, namely Mr. Nonato S. Maza and Mr. Angelo Mardenio M. Burgo. This training is a component of the proposed Native Pig Dispersal Project of the KalipinanngLiping Filipina (KALIPI), Infanta Chapter.

The first two days were lecture sessions, while a farm visit was conducted on the last day to encourage the participants to engage in native pig farming. There were about twenty six (26) participants, all of which were KALIPI members, headed by the Over-all KALIPI President, Mrs. Nelia P. Pasenio.
