Newly Elected Officials of the Municipality of Infanta Takes Oath in Induction Night and Turn-Over Ceremony

On a momentous Thursday evening, the 30th of June, 2016, the newly-elected officials of the Municipality of Infanta took their oath of office in front of about 700 people representingvarious sectors of the community. Prayers in music filled the night together with the experience of commitment to public service of the new administration.
The Councilors of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) were first to raise their right hand in an act of professing theirpledge to fulfill their duties in office in the service of the people. Hon. Lord Arnel L. Ruanto, Hon. Lourna Daniela C. Manalo, Hon. Casiano P. Ungriano, Hon. Mannie A. America, Hon. Rolando B. Avellano, Hon. Carlos R. Crisostomo, Hon. Marlon C. Potes, and Hon. Zenaida Q. Sol complete the list of the first eight candidates who received the most number of votes in the 2016 National Elections.
Following the SB Councilors who took the oath was the second-in-command in this Local Government Unit. Atty. Noli H. Villamor, together with his family, swore to accomplish his responsibilities as the head of the Sangguniang Bayan and Vice Mayor of this Municipality for the next three years. In acceptance of the challenges he is to encounter, he delivered a speech after taking oath, promising to continue to work for the betterment of the community as presiding officer of the Sangguniang Bayan.
The elected town’s Local Chief Executive, Mayor Filipina Grace R. America, was last to sworn to office that night by Judge Arnelo Mesa of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 in Infanta , Quezon right after the turn over ceremony wherein the LGU’s office logo was passed by outgoing Mayor Rodante G. Potes to her. Mayor Filipina Grace America as a returning Mayor vowed to push even more on making Infanta a GREATER Municipality.
