Infanta Booth Tops Niyogyugan Festival 2016 Booth Competition Category A

The Province of Quezon celebrated the annual Nyogyugan Festival at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Lucena City. The festivities lasted for ten (10) days beginning the 18th of August 2016. As part of the big celebration, there were four (4) categories for competition which included Street Dancing Contest, Search for the Binibining Nyogyugan 2016, and Search for the Best Float and the Best Booth.

Newly Elected Officials of the Municipality of Infanta Takes Oath in Induction Night and Turn-Over Ceremony

On a momentous Thursday evening, the 30th of June, 2016, the newly-elected officials of the Municipality of Infanta took their oath of office in front of about 700 people representingvarious sectors of the community. Prayers in music filled the night together with the experience of commitment to public service of the new administration.

Ceremonial Wrecking of the Old Claro M. Recto District Hospital

On January 16, 2017, Monday, the Ceremonial Wrecking / Demolition of the old Claro M. Recto District Hospital was conducted at the site to open the streets between Ruanto and Bonifacio of Poblacion 1. Despite the heavy rains and unpleasant weather, Quezon Provincial Governor David "Jayjay" C. Suarez graced the occasion which was attended by the Municipal Mayor Filipina Grace R. America, the Municipal Vice-Mayor Noli H. Villamor, the Sangguniang Bayan, the Barangay Officials, LGU Department Heads and other employees, as well as School representatives.

Municipality of Infanta Places 1st in the 3rd – 6thClass Cities and Municipalities Category Overall Competitiveness

On the 14th of July 2016, Thursday, the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) held the 4thAnnual Regional Competitiveness Summit at the Philippine International Convention Center to award the Most Competitive Cities and Municipalities of last year.

LGU Infanta supports Women’s Month Celebration in March 2014

The Local Government Unit of Infanta supports Women’s Month Celebration in March 2014, Presidential Proclamation Nos. 224 and 227, both series of 1998, and Republic Act No. 6949 s. 1990, declare month of March as National Women’s Month.

The 2014 celebration carries the theme: “Juana, ang Tatag Mo ay Tatag Natin sa Pagbangon at Pagsulong!,” aimed to pay tribute to the strong and resilient “Juana’s” who brought inspiring changes in the country, and across the globe.

DENR-FASPO visits LGU Infanta

Personnel of Foreign Assisted and Special Projects Office (FASPO) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) led by Dr. Roger Serano and Ms. Moon Yeen Manrique conducted an interview with the concerned officials and employees of the local government of Infanta, Quezon from January 13-16, 2014. Said interview is part of the documentation activity being undertaken by FASPO-DENR in relation to the Watershed Management Project implemented in the municipality through the support of World Bank.

OSCA holds senior citizen’s night

In celebration of the 2013 Municipal Elderly Week with the theme, “Nakatatanda: Pagtulungang Isulong Benepisyo at Karapatan tungo sa Maginhawa at Masayang Pamayanan,” the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) organized a Senior Citizens Night on October 5, 2013 at Infanta Social Center. Said activity was conducted to strengthen the involvement of senior citizens to the community and to continuously advocate for the promotion and protection of their rights and welfare.

Approximately, 800 seniors from the 36 barangays of Infanta attended the event.

Infanta MPS gives recognition to best PNCO

The Infanta Municipal Police Station (MPS) headed by PSI Rizaldy G. Merene recognized PO3 Felipe Lopez Mejora and PO1 Maria Eleonor Camilon as Best Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) for the month of September. The awarding of Certificate of Recognition and cash incentive was done on September 30, 2013 with Municipal Mayor Rodante G. Potes, Sr., Vice Mayor Filipina Grace America and PSI Merene.

LGU employees receive loyalty incentives

In culmination of the 113th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, the Local Government Unit of Infanta conferred the loyalty incentives to its employees on September 27, 2013 at Infanta Social Center.

Twenty-eight employees received loyalty cash incentives of P10,000 for the first 10 years of service and P5,000 for every five years of service. Certificate of Recognition was also given to commend employees’ effort and dedication to public service.

Also undertaken was the awarding of certificates of recognition and cash incentives to the two retired LGU employees.
