Municipal Profile

The municipality of Infanta is a first class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 64,818. It is situated on the northern part of Quezon Province. It is one of the 13 municipalities comprising the first congressional district.

Prizes confer to Infanta logo contest winners

Infanta Mayor Filipina Grace R. America, together with Mayor-elect Rodante G. Potes and members of the Sangguniang Bayan, conferred the cash prize and certificate to the winning schools of the logo contest during the celebration of 115th Philippine Independence held on June 12, 2013 at Infanta Social Center. Two schools were declared as winners out of the 22 schools that participated in the contest. They are Libjo Elementary School and ACTS Computer College – Infanta. They both received a cash prize of P3, 000.00 and a certificate.

Infanta celebrates 115th Philippine Independence

The Municipality of Infanta joined in the nationwide celebration of the 115th Philippine Independence. The celebration started through a parade of local government officials and employees, officers and personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police and Philippine Army, school heads and teachers from private and public schools, private institutions and non-government organizations.

LGU Infanta conducts seminar-workshop on effective technical writing and editing and business communication

The Local Government Unit of Infanta through the Office of the Human Resource Management conducted a seminar-workshop on effective technical writing and editing and business communication last December 3-4, 2012 at the Fiesta Infanta Restaurant in Brgy. Ingas, Infanta, Quezon. Department heads and their assistants attended the seminar-workshop which aims to enhance the participant’s writing competencies.

LGU Infanta conducts Poster making contest in the Infanta Community Library

The Local Government Unit of Infanta conducted a poster making contest last November 28, 2012 at the Infanta Community Library. It was part of the reading campaign activities laid out to show the importance of reading in creating a literate community. Public and private secondary schools in Infanta participated in the contest.

The poster was a visualization of the importance of libraries or reading in particular to disaster risk reduction and management.

LGU Infanta inaugurates Infanta Community Library

The Local Government Unit of Infanta inaugurated the Infanta Community Library last November 29, 2012. It is the start of an easy access to information. The library is open to everyone but only residents of Infanta have borrowing privileges. This was in partnership with Ayala Foundation, Inc and BPI Foundation, Inc.
